The other day I said to my older son (Abel-18), “Hey, do you have a girlfriend? I don’t hear you talking about this part of your life. I hope you don’t hide it from me.”
If you live in the U.S., you know that the first Thursday of May, which is today May 4th, is the National Day of Prayer.
A4P Guest: I’m married and have two little kids, four- and five-year-olds. My husband and I get along just fine. As I read through your old posts, Missy, I thought you’re the right person for me to ask my question that nags me a lot these days. So, my husband and I have good sexual relationship and I don’t complain about that but you see, my husband doesn’t express love to me outside the bedroom. He is just romantic in the bedroom, not outside the bedroom. I don’t know what or how to tell him how much I need his attention outside the bedroom. What do you advise me?

Before I say anything, I would like to thank and appreciate the Appeal for Purity Team for keeping the page alive and responding to hundreds of messages coming to the inbox in my absence for the last many days. May God bless you!

Jesus died on the cross for all our sins.
Isn’t that a wonderful news? Yes, it is!
But there is better news than that!
Jesus raised from the dead so that you and I will have a brand new life.
We are given this new life in Christ so that we become the lambs of God, sheep of His Pasture for one purpose: To glorify the name of Jesus.
Happy Easter to all of you from all of us, Appeal for Purity! ///
“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:22
We submit to our husbands only when we submit to God. Otherwise the curse of controlling our husbands’ life will be our full time work.
May God be praised for saving us from that tiresome and wearisome work, work of controlling our husbands’ life!
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”” (Galatians 3:13)
Submission is a wonderful gift God gave to all wives; but it is only wonderful when it is given to a loving husband and when it comes out of a godly wife. ///

Wow! Wow! Wow!
This is all I can say about this wonderful book by Pastor John MacArthur!
If you are for purity of heart (Matthew 5:28), you’ll earn yourself all sorts of “not-good” names, such as, “Odd, homosexual, weird, antisocial, fanatic” or people just doubt that you have that “department” of body on you.
