THE WAY!

All these things which are unfolding before our eyes are, in part, results of fatherless homes. Take note if you are a father.

The Bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). It says, “IN THE WAY!”

You can’t create a way and train up your son in your creative ways and expect him to turn out to be a good citizen or a leader. The Bible doesn’t say, “Train up a child in a way” but in “THE WAY!”

THE WAY has already been set, never to be changed, defined or redefined!

Jesus said, “I’m THE WAY and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6)

While it is still “DAY TIME,” train up your son in THE WAY! Because the NIGHT is soon falling!

Woe to you if you abandon your son to himself and the society because your own son comes back to you as your enemy in the night and bit you!

If you yourself grew up in a fatherless home, you are not alone. The good news is, now you have THE FATHER in Christ. So, learn how to be a father and a man from Him and from those who are trained up by Him for a long period of time. Then be a father to your son! ///

Another plea to encourage you all!

If you especially have young kids as young as 12, this book will be an excellent resource to fight the fight that is raging against our kids and families. If you’ve ever wondered how to initiate a difficult conversation, such as sex and sexual orientation, with your kids, this will be a great tool.

We have to lock our hands together and protect our kids; rescue the next generation from this furious enemies of our soul!

Please buy this book! The war is on! And the best way to fight back is by discipling the next generation. This is a small contribution to help parents and church youth ministry leaders fight for our children.

If I ever get a chance, I will give the full testimony of this book, how the sponsors appeared from nowhere to support it when I was asking God how to fund it.

My friends, God is behind this vision. The current news we hear and listen to is a testimony of how timely His provision is.

Order your copy today! Don’t say, “I will do it tomorrow!” There is no tomorrow my dearest! Today is the day! ///

The US Supreme Court Redefined Marriage in all 50 States

A4P Guest: Did you hear the news yesterday about the US Supreme Court Decision about marriage?

A4P: Yes, I did!

A4P Guest: Can you say something about it?

A4P: I am not sure what you are asking me. Are you asking me whether I am for or against the decision?

A4P Guest: I know you only believe in a marriage between one man and one woman. No, that is not what I’m asking you. I’m just asking what your take is on the issue, like the implication the Supreme Court decision has on us, Christians. Continue reading The US Supreme Court Redefined Marriage in all 50 States

The Unquenchable Desire to be Complimented by Others

I didn’t pay any extra attention to my outfit or hair. I went out to run some errands. Then a woman complimented my pair of slippers. I said, “Thank you!”

The thing is, I didn’t pay that much attention to my shiny slippers lately but oh, well, somebody did. Within few minutes, a guy said, “Beautiful hair color.” I said to myself, “My hair color? What color is that? Last time I checked, my hair has no one definite color!” But who cares? Somebody liked it. So, I turned around and said, “Thank you! That is very nice of you!”

And when the third person gave me a nice compliment about my summer outfit, a worn out pair of shorts and a t-shirt, I said, “Okay, hands down. I look good! These people are not crazy for saying the same thing!” And I felt like the whole world was a wonderful place to live in; and I kind of wanted to go around and give a squishy hug to everyone. STOP!

If you feel like you found the love of your life, a person so beautiful/handsome who understands you more than anybody else, a person you can talk to for hours without realizing that you talked for six hours and you are already thinking about your wedding and your children you are going to have with this person BUT it’s only been two or three weeks since you met this person, STOP!

You are acting CRAZY! So, stop and take one step back. Then take like three days off from everyone, including yourself and be present before God. Let the Word of God do some kind of mental and emotional check up on you. You know, when we ride in a very speedy train of life, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, we end up in a ditch where nobody can snatch us out until we harvest all the consequences of our carelessness and mindlessness. ///

Killing Two Birds with One Stone

A4P Guest: I’ve been married for four years now. My husband and I have two kids, two years old boy and seven month old baby girl. I love my husband and I know he loves me too. I used to be happy with my marriage but not anymore.

A4P: Why aren’t you happy?

A4P Guest: I’m not sure how I can tell you.

A4P: If you can’t tell me, I can’t help you. Most married couples come to this ministry because they have sexual problems. Is that the case with you?

A4P Guest: Yes.

A4P: Okay. Let me hear about it and see if I can be of any help. Continue reading Killing Two Birds with One Stone

From yesterday’s flyer, there was one important piece of info missing. An updated version of the flyer is attached with this note.

The Chicago conference that is going to be held in Springfield, VA from July 22 to 25 is going to be in English!

The main target audiences are the Ethiopian and Eritrean diaspora young women and men who speak English.

Make sure you spread the word. Encourage the young people to come over to the program if they are older than 18 or bring them over with you if they are younger than 18 and older than 13.

We sure are going to have a life-changing time together! Yes, that is exactly what is going to happen when the Holy Spirit takes over a program! Don’t miss it! ///

The theme or the topic of the conference is:

Set Apart, Make an Impact!

The theme itself stirs up something in me!

The two speakers for this year’s Chicago Conference are Pastor Nebiye and I. I can’t tell you how excited I’m to minister with Pastor Nebiye who is the husband of a beautiful woman and a father of four beautiful children. I met Pastor Nebiye in San Francisco and after we spoke for few minutes, I realized that we had the same passion, similar call, same message and hear this, we read similar books.

So, when I first heard that Pastor Nebiye is the other minister invited to speak at this year’s Chicago Conference, I can’t tell you how excited I was and still am.

So, if you are going to be in the DC area from July 22-25, I invite you to come and worship God with us. ///
