Lovely and Timely Question

(As usual, I first would like to say “Thank you” for the person who asked this question and said, “Go ahead, share my question with others. Somebody may benefit from it.” God bless you my dear!)

A4P Guest: I know God has been good to me, but sometimes I feel confused about the things which are happening in my life. I have been praying to get married for years now. All my friends got married except me. I ask God and I seek Him to know his plan for my life but my main prayer is always to get married but He doesn’t seem to hear me. I think I prayed enough now. When is the day for me to stop to pray about this? And my other question is how can I meet Christian men? Thank you!

Precious, we stop praying until we receive the answer for our prayers (which can be yes, wait or no) or until we die. Don’t ever stop praying.

You see, you pay very small for a dress which has no quality and no brand name but you pay a lot to buy and wear a beautifully made dress with a brand name.

In the same way, good things in life don’t come to you very easily because they are costly. Most people are willing to have good things in life; and many people wish to have all those good things but very few people are willing to pay the price to have good things in life.

Yes, good things in life cost a lot and one of the prices we have to be ready and willing to pay to have good things in life is called “waiting on God with righteousness.”

I’m sure you know what I’m trying to get at. Waiting on God should be done in a way you wait for a President of the United States if he plans to come to your home. What do you do if President Obama is coming to your home tonight? Yes, that is how God wants us to wait on Him.

God created billions of men and it is a very easy thing for God to bring one of them to your life but do you want to take any man as a husband? I hope your answer is “No.” You want a man who is a man of God; a man who is going to be a loving husband to you and a loving father to your kids. Don’t you? Then, God waits on you to be that woman who is going to be worthy of receiving that kind of man. Do you hear me? Be that woman who is worthy of receiving a man of God.

When you get to that point, all you desire to have in life will be GOD! Not a HUSBAND! Then when you get there, you will know that you are ready to get married. Then a man of God will knock the door of your life to take your hand for marriage.

The Bible says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

Precious, God is with you to make you a woman of God. His grace and Spirit are with you to make you be what God wants you to be. God doesn’t ask you to be someone you can’t be. He is asking you to be the person He is able to make you be. Don’t worry how to meet a Christian man. If you are part of the church and involved in a ministry and be active part of the Body of Christ, you will meet most of those godly men. If you are a visitor of a church every week, hanging around with girls all days of your time, it will be difficult for you to find him. Let me leave you with this:

“You (God) will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in (Him) you.” Isaiah 26:3

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”” Jeremiah 17:7-8

I pray God reveals to you more of His heart so that you will see it all clearly; so that you will seek Him and His will first with all your heart, mind and soul to the point of receiving everything you need! ///
