Impossible!

The Bible says,

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 12:1-2

We present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice to God so our bodies will be used by God as instruments of righteousness.

But we can’t do that unless we are first transformed at our heads so we view, understand and interpret life in biblical ways and our patterns of lives follow suit.

For example, as Christians, when our minds get transformed by the Scriptures, we view dating as a way a couple grows their friendship, friendship that is very far away from sex and physical contact, but focused on knowing and understanding each other to see and know if they are meant to be partners and companions for life.

When our mind does not go through transformation, we sit in the church and involve in church ministries and ask:

“Is kissing before marriage a sin?”

Or, worse, we say,

“If we love each other deeply and know that we will get married in the future, it is okay to exchange our saliva and all bacteria and fungus that live in our mouths. That is a sign of “oneness” before marriage that the Bible is talking about.”

Which Bible says that? ??‍♀️

Why do we think that way?

Our mind is stuck in spiritual infancy, no transformation whatsoever. That means, whenever we find spare time, we spend it all on social media, checking out the news, seeing pictures and watching entertaining videos.

??‍♀️

How can anybody’s mind be transformed in that situation?

How can anybody who gives his/her eyes, ears, mind and heart to this world reject the pattern of this world?

How can anybody who is snacking on a sin, have an appetite for righteousness?

Impossible!

Think about it. ///
