I don’t know about you but for me, there is nothing like a beautiful sunny day, like today, that reminds me of the mercy of God.

And this is the passage that I’m thinking of:

“Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.” Psalm 32:1-2

Those of us who are in Christ, we are not any different from the people of this world if it wasn’t for Jesus Christ. He is the One who chose us; not the other way round. He said, “You did not choose me, but I chose you” John 15:16a He is the One who loved us first. “We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

We didn’t seek Him, He sought us and He found us. “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10

He found us while we were dead in our transgressions “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,” Ephesians 2:1 and He chose to forgive us and cover our sins in His blood.

What shall we say about that!

We also have nothing to boast about except His grace and mercy. And the only thing left for us to do is just to lift His name high up and sing a song of praise only to Him for only by His grace that we are saved! ///
