Hmm!
The way that seems right to us sometimes needs to be sifted not only through the word of God but also through the advice of others.
This is where then wisdom needs to be called.
“The way of fools seems right to them,” and they think that all their ways, their decisions, such as who to date and who to marry, are right; but the wise, they ask and listen to the advice of others before they make any decision. The wise are not led by what they see and feel. They don’t say, “I know the word of God; so I know what to do here.” Rather they ask advice, not to get approval of their decision but to get advice first and then make their decision.
What a sharp contradiction between the fool and the wise! And don’t you wanna be wise in all areas of life? Oh, I do! I hate finding myself acting like a fool. ///
