Is Phone Sex A Sin for Married Couples?

What sort of question is this?

Phone sex is like viewing porn. And when it happens among married couples, phone sex won’t get baptized and become holy just because it happens between married couple.

God made sexual intimacy for the union of two souls to become one. This union is physical union. How can a couple who live in different countries have a physical union? Through phone sex? Through exchanging video of their naked bodies?

Phone sex is like group masturbation. What do you get out of masturbation? Achieving climax without “intimacy!” No relationship! No oneness! No renewal of marital covenant!

This is totally against intimacy, against marriage, and against anything that is from God!

Phone sex does not give any sexual fulfillment. It makes a soul to sink in the sea of lust where people are nothing but body parts.

So, whether to married couples or unmarried couples, phone sex is a sin.

The Word of God says,

For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned you. For God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification. So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.” 1 Thessalonians 4:2-8 NASB ///
