Sexual purity starts at the eye

When we know how to take control of our eyes, we can be in a good shape to take control of our actions; what our body parts choose to do. If we lose the battle at our eyes, we lose the battle that is waging against our whole body and we get stuck in all sorts of destructive habits and lifestyles.

Jesus said, ““The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.  But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”                   (Matthew 6:22-23) ///

A Woman Came as a Solution

“So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.” Genesis 2:20

And God solved this problem by taking a rib out of Adam, and made Eve and brought her to Adam. Because of the original design, she belongs to only one man; in a covenant relationship of marriage of one man and one woman – just like the first wedding in the Garden of Eden – Genesis 2:21-25 ///

Sign of Strength

When a woman submits to her husband’s leadership, she paves the way for the Holy Spirit to take over her husband’s heart (1 Peter 3:1). And when the Holy Spirit takes over her husband’s heart, guess what “the probable” outcome will be? Genesis 1:2 says, “the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” – Continue reading Sign of Strength

One Short Sermon

The Bible says, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21)

I love the fruit of my tongue but only the one that brings life to me and others. So, I try my best to make sure that what comes out of my tongue brings nothing but life. But instead of trying to control what comes out of my mouth, I strive to filter what I’m dwelling on in my heart, “For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” (Matthew 12:34b)

So, the one thing I need to pay close attention to is what I let come and stay into my heart. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23)

And to guard my heart, the Word of God advises me to do these: “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” (Philippians 4:8) – What is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, – – – ?

“A Born-Again Christian Man Never Ever Struggles with Sin”

A4P Guest: In one of your recent posts, you said, “a born-again Christian man who is free from sexual struggles is found in a cemetery or in heaven.” That means he is nowhere to be found on earth. What do you mean when you said “struggle”? The word “struggle” is defined as: a long effort to do, achieve, or deal with something that is difficult or that causes problems. Are you referring to the new created man (born-again) person having sexual struggle? Does the new born-again Christian have such continuous struggle with sin? If we are born of God, we could not commit sin. The seed in us is new. The born again person has no appetite for sin. There is, of course, a level of maturity in Christianity but a new born-again and matured Christian man never ever struggles with sin. 1 john 5:18 says, “We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.” We are Spirit filled. Our old mind is renewed by the Spirit of God. If we are always under struggle what is the purpose of the Spirit in us?
