It is always good to be HOME!

Praise the LORD! I’m back home after I had a wonderful three days long conference at the Ethiopian Evangelical Church (EEC) in Toronto, Canada.

As I always do, I would like to leave a “Thank you” note here on this page to those who gave me this great opportunity and made my stay in Toronto an enjoyable and memorable one.

I first would like to say “Thank you” to Pastor Alemayehu and his beloved wife, for inviting me over to minister and worship God with teens, young adults, singles and married folks of the Toronto Ethiopian Evangelical church. Thank you! May the LORD continue using you for His glory!

There are so many people to thank next but I won’t dare to start to name them all because they are many. So, I have to thank them all in groups. I would like to say “Thank you” to the elders, the family ministry leaders, all the pastors of EEC! You guys are just amazing! Thank you for embracing me, the Appeal for Purity Ministries and the message of God I brought to you. May the LORD bless you all!

I would also like to say “Thank you” to my New Delhi and Pune, India friends. Yes, I met some of my friends I came to know in India 200 years ago, lol. My Indian University friends, you guys are amazing! Thank you for loving me and reminding me of all those good old days! I love you guys!

Last but not least, I would like to say “Thank you” to the EEC general congregation and to all who came out to worship God with us from different places. Thank you for loving and supporting me!

Well, I was very down after a day-long stay in Toronto and I will tell you why. Everybody who met me in person for the first time said this to me:

“OMG! I didn’t know you were this short. I thought you were 6-foot tall or something. You looked very tall in all your YouTube videos.”

So, I decided to make my height public today. My friend, I’m 5-foot and one-inch tall. I ain’t 6-foot tall.

I guess I am exhausted now and I need to take a good rest.

My main message throughout the three days conference was: the government of the land we live in may come up with so many laws to redefine marriage or how life has to be done; but for us who are in Christ, what we need to pay close attention to is the Word of God; our call, Children of God.

May the LORD be with us all! ///
