Sweet and Colorful Marshmallow
I read about “Marshmallow Test” study today done at Stanford University in 1960. The subjects were children of ages four to six year olds.
These little kids will be given one marshmallow (can be cookies or pretzel sticks). They are told that they would be rewarded with the second marshmallow if they wait for 15 minutes “without giving in to the temptation.” Continue reading Sweet and Colorful Marshmallow

Love Has Burned Away!
“Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. The Bible says,
“Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4, ESV)

Old Habits Die Hard
When we come to Christ, some of our longstanding “bad and destructive” habits instantly disappear and we say, “I used to smoke cigarette and right after I invited Jesus Christ into my life, my desire to smoke cigarette totally disappeared. I even tried to smoke but it didn’t feel the same. I hated it. So, from that day on, I quit smoking.”

Shake the Dust off Your Feet
A4P Guest: Hi Missy, I love listening to your video messages and reading your blogs. You have no idea how God has been ministering to me through your channel. May God bless you! I always pray for you and Appeal for Purity. I have one question though. So, I have one small Bible study group that I go to every week and I encourage all my Bible study group members to watch your videos and read your posts but some of them are totally against your messages. They think that your message is not good for born again Christians. None of the men in my Bible study ever watched any of your videos. And every time I bring up a topic you addressed in one of your videos or blogs, they get irritated. I am not sure how to encourage them to embrace Appeal for Purity. What do you advise me?
