Sex outside of marriage, according to the Bible is, sinful, dirty, shameful, dangerous to our soul, spirit and body as it degrades the honorable nature of a human being who is created by the image and likeness of a holy God. I have a wonderful opportunity to minister in the Jerusalem Evangelical Church in Stockholm, Sweden from Nov 6 to 12.
I’m very excited about this opportunity but truth be told, while there is unrest in my beautiful land, Ethiopia, and my beautiful people, Ethiopians, are in turmoil, it is getting harder and harder every day for me to enjoy anything.
But God taught me how to draw comfort in knowing that God is God, means, He is in control.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10a)
It is my daily prayer for God to bring peace and rest to all of us. May His mercy and grace be with Ethiopia and all Ethiopians!

Advice to a Single Girl
It is wonderful to see couples tying the knot to be one, never to be two.
As a married person and a teacher in the area of sexual purity, I can’t tell you how I rejoice whenever I see a wedding.

Nakedness
It was few years back when our kids were very little. While I was reading one of those interesting psychology books, I don’t remember which one; I read that in every human heart, there is this deep seated desire to be naked. I said to myself, “You must be kidding me!” The author continued saying that not only we desire to be naked but we desire others to be naked as well.
I said to myself; “That is absurd!”
Well, I respectfully disagreed with the idea and moved on to the next one. But the idea kind of stayed with me. Then to my surprise, I noticed something.
The Only School of Discipline

Let You Be Who You are
While I was in line to pay for my groceries, I was on my phone reading my emails that I didn’t get a chance to read in the morning. Then I put my phone back in my pocket and I zoned out. I began thinking about something and before I knew it I said something audibly. And the person who was standing on the other side looked at me as if I was crazy.
I was so embarrassed that I tried to sing as if I was in the middle of rehearsing a song. Then all of a sudden, my heart posed a question: “Does this woman know you?”
