New Year’s Resolutions

A beautiful young lady, Hanna Tesfaye, a wife of one handsome man and a mother of five nations (I will say it again, a mother of five young nations), shared with me this link and something caught my attention.

This is a program launched by the Word of Grace Church in Nuremberg, Germany. And the main purpose of the program  is to encourage the people of God to read the Bible.

“To read the Bible!” – This is the one purpose of the program that caught my attention and I thought it would be nice to share the link with you.

I mean, what do you call a Christian who does not feed on the Bible on a daily basis?

Let me not say it; but as we all eat “bread” to live physically, we should eat “the Bible” (read and study the Bible) to live spiritually. To live spiritually means to live for the glory of God, not for self or this world.

Jesus said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 NASB

Isn’t that a straightforward message? I believe it is.

Let me add to this: If you can read and understand English, you can use enduringword.com as your go-to place to find answers to your biblical questions.

You know why I am sharing this with you?
Well, I already made “Reading the Bible every day” as one of my New Year’s Resolutions and I am encouraging you to do the same here. ///
