The Bible says, “No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” 1 John 3:9
The key phrase is “will continue to sin.”
But the Bible also says, “We all stumble in many ways.” James 3:2a. All means, all! None of us are perfect and we stumble in many ways.
However, “stumbling in sin” and “continuing in sin” are two different things.
In the same way, “a person commits sexual sin” is a completely different statement from “a person lives in sexual sin.”
As we read above, those who belong to Christ will not and cannot live in sin or continue in sin. Why? Because God’s seed that remains in them doesn’t allow them to do so.
While we have this truth in place, why do we call a man who has no sexual integrity, who continues in sin as “a man of God?”
While he is sexually violating a girl, forcing her to do abortion, he stands on a stage and says, “God is speaking to each one of you! Just bow down and close your eyes and wait on God to speak to you.”
Tragic! Tragic! Tragic!
If you’re a young Christian girl, listen to me carefully please:
If a man has no sexual integrity, run away from him!
The Bible says, “Flee from sexual immorality.” 1 Corinthians 6:18a
If he says he cannot wait until he marries you, run away from him. If he says, “If you say yes for sex, you protect me from going to another woman to sin against God. You are my girl. I am going to marry you. So, sleep with me,” don’t listen to him.
Let him find his god but you run to your God.
If he is a man of God, the LEAST character you should expect from him is sexual integrity. For example, a man of God knows exactly when and where to unbuckle his belt, in his marital bedroom, to be one with his wedded wife. ///
