I praise God for this program.
This program happens only once a year but for us, for my husband and I, it feels like it is happening every week because it invades our prayer times until it comes and goes every year.
Why?
Without any doubt, we came to realize this truth that marriage between one man and one woman carries an eternal purpose and goal, namely the glory of God! And that is one of the reasons why marriage is not the idea that is coined by an intelligent human being but by an eternal and Sovereign God who “works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will”. Ephesians 1:11
So, for us, working on marriages is like working in the innermost temple of the Holy God. Praise God!
And preparing a program such as “Celebrating Marriage 2020” is such an honor and a privilege for us and it is a source of so much pleasure even if it takes every ounce of our energy and every fiber of our being to make it happen. But we strive to do this: We fix our eyes on no one but on Him who sees and knows everything and knows how to strengthen those who are weak like us.
May His name forever be praised! May He alone be glorified and magnified in everything we do and say!
