Unsnatchable!

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:27-29 NIV

In one of the books I am reading, the above passage of the Bible is titled as “Unsnatchable.” So we are those of us who are in the hands of Jesus Christ. No one and nothing is strong enough to snatch us out of Jesus’ hands! Continue reading Unsnatchable!

The LORD Sustains Me

The first thing that came to my mind this morning was the fact that I was still saved, that I believe in Jesus Christ. 
 
Have you ever thought about that?
 
You go to sleep believing in Jesus Christ and when you wake up, you find yourself believing in Him again.
My friend, if you think that your brain or your will or something else than God is the one that makes you a believer every morning, you didn’t understand what the word of God is saying about your salvation, how you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit until Jesus Christ comes back.

No Better than Sieves

Why don’t we lose hope in this world?

No, seriously, this is my deep seated question: Why do we still hope that this world will somehow and someway satisfy our needs?

Is this part of “our fallenness?” It must be because I personally sometimes feel like I’ve matured enough not to think that way but I still catch myself thinking, “If I go to the mall and buy a beautiful suit or dress, I will come out of this blue feeling.” Or, “Let me go on YouTube so I can find something to watch and forget all about this life.” Continue reading No Better than Sieves

The Devil Blocked My Way

No matter what I’m going through, God, who has so much confidence in His abounding mercy and grace, keeps on saying, “Leave the past behind  you and move on to the next! Don’t get stuck!”
