The first thing that came to my mind this morning was the fact that I was still saved, that I believe in Jesus Christ.
Have you ever thought about that?
You go to sleep believing in Jesus Christ and when you wake up, you find yourself believing in Him again.
My friend, if you think that your brain or your will or something else than God is the one that makes you a believer every morning, you didn’t understand what the word of God is saying about your salvation, how you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit until Jesus Christ comes back.
No, seriously, this is my deep seated question: Why do we still hope that this world will somehow and someway satisfy our needs?
Is this part of “our fallenness?” It must be because I personally sometimes feel like I’ve matured enough not to think that way but I still catch myself thinking, “If I go to the mall and buy a beautiful suit or dress, I will come out of this blue feeling.” Or, “Let me go on YouTube so I can find something to watch and forget all about this life.” Continue reading No Better than Sieves→
No matter what I’m going through, God, who has so much confidence in His abounding mercy and grace, keeps on saying, “Leave the past behind you and move on to the next! Don’t get stuck!”
