Appeal for purity is a ministry to reach the people of God with the message of sexual purity. It’s a ministry that strives to reveal the things of God regarding marriage, sex, sexual pleasure, sexual immorality and morality. It mainly concentrates on purifying the mind than controlling the act.
Most of us are aware of sexual sin but we are not that much aware of the gifts of God in the area of sex and sexual pleasure. Satan and this world promote sex and sexual pleasure as an entertainment, something anybody, anywhere and at any age can have. But God, who is the Creator of both sex and sexual pleasure, puts sex and sexual pleasure in the marriage because He is the only One who knows what is best for us. That fact in mind, we try to understand the reason behind all God’s conditions and requirements for a godly sexual activity.
So Appeal for Purity brings topics such as the issue of masturbation, porn addiction, adultery, fornication and other forms of sexually inappropriate deeds and shine a light at them so that they can be seen as they are, without their “shiny” names such as “adult entertainment”. Appeal for purity also focuses on the things of God in the area of sex and sexual pleasure in contrast to the so called sex of this world, the works of the flesh and the tactics of the devil so that readers may see clearly the heart of God for His people.
