For a young man to say “No” to porn, he has to have a healthy and strong relationship with other men who are walking in righteousness. It is excellent for him to have a good and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ but that is not enough. He has to know and be trained by righteous and sexually pure men who teach him how to channel his sexual desires and urges. Without these men in his life, the world and his flesh play “soccer” with his sexuality and drop it into a net of “meaninglessness.”

When a testosterone rush bombards his brain, a young man can’t think logically. He can’t reason to figure out what the next step of action should be and how to take it. His brain will be taken over by the notoriously hard to resist hormone.

But this same hormone that has a potential and capacity to take over his brain and make him act and behave like animals can be harnessed and bridled by a renewed mind of a young man (NOTICE the difference between mind and brain here).

When this man is mentored by godly men, role models who have sexual integrity, his mind learns how to fight and win his battles.

The thing is, if a young man doesn’t learn how to control his sexual urges, he eventually finds it hard to control the other areas of his life.

So, if you are a young man struggling with porn and masturbation, look for men who have sexual integrity. Please don’t say, “There are no men like that in the area where I live!”

When Elijah cried before God saying, “I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too” God’s reply was this: “I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.” (1 King 19)

When he cried saying, I’m the only one left, God said, there are 7000 God kept as a reserve.

So, for you, there might be 700,000. You just have to look for them prayerfully.

Trying to win your won by yourself is a sign that you are prideful and sinful and not only that you are destine to lose the war no matter how many time you tried to win. You will be a loser. Do you know why?

You and I are not designed to live and wage war alone. We are not. So, don’t try to make history. There is no history outside of your original creation.  ///
