What happened in Metekel Zone, Ethiopia today is something words cannot express and minds cannot comprehend!
More than 100 people were slaughtered, beheaded, while they were sleeping in their poor homes with all their family members. Some were burned alive in their homes early in the morning around 4am. Those who tried to escape were killed in the most gruesome way imaginable.
What was their crime?
They were from the Amhara tribe.
Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali visited this same area yesterday but after he left, this happened.
Why?
?
The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is located in Metekel and Egypt may have something to do with this atrocity but is Egypt the only suspect?
Our prime minister, Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali, often says, “You cannot destroy Ethiopia before you kill all us Ethiopians.” I mean, that is so true and this kind of speech makes us, Ethiopians, happy. But will this same speech make others, those who wish for Ethiopia and Ethiopians to disappear from the face of the earth, happy?
?
Is Dr. Abiy their number one target or Ethiopia is their target?
The West take advantage of our poverty and illiteracy. Those who have vested interest in Ethiopia and the resources of Ethiopia (“raw materials”), have a simple task they must do. They handpick a few men and give them lots of money, an amount of money they have never seen in their lives, and then tell them “a fairy tale,” such as: “Do you know that the Amhara people hate you and that they are out to get you? You have to get rid of them so you and your children will live.”
Nobody ask questions. They go out and start killing these people that are “out to get them.” No sense of humanity, no brain that asks why, no emotion to feel sorry for a pregnant woman or a little baby. They just start killing their own neighbors, and then those who have vested interest in our land get their “raw materials” at the lowest price possible, at a “dirt cheap price” as the man in the video said.
Is this man talking about one of those conspiracies?
I don’t think so. If you know something about slavery, this won’t be a new thing for you.
But still I am confused and puzzled.
“Our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12 NASB
Amen! Yes, our eyes are on the LORD. We seek His face. After all, who do we have but God! Who can be a friend of a poor and totally confused people? No one but God.
So we look unto God alone, for from Him alone comes our help.
“I will raise my eyes to the mountains;
From where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2 NASB ///
