Any Comfort?

When you really think about it, this world has a Creator. And you and I found us in this world. It is not like we chose to come here as if we had had any existence before we came here, right?

It is natural for us to ask, who we are, where we came from and where we’re heading. I mean, we ask those questions if we find time with “self.” If we are moving with the motion, we are dragged by all kinds of things and our mind doesn’t even have a minute to “think.” Continue reading Any Comfort?

Willpower and Sexual Sanity

Psychologists say, “Willpower is the key to success.”

Hmm!

The question we need to ask is, “What is success for us?”

If success for us is getting straight A in all college exams, well, I think willpower will be the key to successfully do that. Even if this is not true to all people, it’s at least for many people. The Question We Need To Answer

This is one of Jesus’ life changing parables:

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” Luke‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Continue reading The Question We Need To Answer

Blessed Are Those

The word of God says,

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life [or, pride in possessions]—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Continue reading Blessed Are Those
