When the word of God says, “Flee from sexual immorality,” (1 Corinthians 6:18a) but find ourselves running into the very thing God says run away, we are pretty much saying to God, “You are forbidding me from doing something that is good for me. After all, I doubt Your goodness. So I disobey You!” Continue reading Doubt God’s Goodness→
Today I read Numbers chapter 35. This is the chapter where you read about the six towns, in addition to the forty-two towns, God ordered Moses to give to the Levites. These six towns are called Cities of Refuge. Continue reading City of Refuge!→
When the Israelites sinned against God, many of them died getting bitten by venomous snakes. Then they came to Moses so he could pray for them. Moses prayed and “The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.” (Numbers 21:8-9) Continue reading Looked at the Bronze Snake→

One thing that captures my attention whenever I see or think of weeds is this: They grow without anybody planting them. The soil just gives off weeds if nobody cares for the field.
When weeds grow, they don’t need anyone to take care of them. And when they are left to themselves, they flourish more than any plant you can think of. And they take over anything that has life in it.
He was not going to church as often as he used to. He had good fellowship with some Christian friends but he kind of caught up with busy life and felt estranged from them and the things of God.
Then little by little, his prayer-time turned from one hour to five minutes. He knows that he is a good looking guy who attracts any woman in his vicinity. At times he blamed his look for finding himself in bed with a number of women he didn’t even know their full names.
I love going out with my kids. Well, I don’t go out with all of them that much these days because a new chapter of life has already ushered itself into our family. So, no more putting my kids in the back seat and driving around. Oh, how I missed those days! Continue reading Live in the “NOW”→
