The Next Moment

I do listen to the news but I strive not to let the news lead my life.
 
So, what I do is, I listen to the news and I read and study my Bible and I strive to think about what I read/studied all day long.
 
Today I read Luke 23 and I studied a good part of this chapter. Since it is a relatively long chapter, studying it takes time. Then I went somewhere and I got a chance to listen to the Bible via my car bluetooth. Just beautiful!

Coronavirus

Today in late afternoon, one person in our area confirmed to have the coronavirus.
 
Then I immediately started to think about my hubby and kids and began to panic.
 
Then this passage calmed my soul:
 
“God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.” Psalm 461-3

Digging a Grave To Bury

The Bible says,
 
“This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.” Genesis 5:1-2 KJV
 
Did you hear that?
 
God called their name (not  “their names” but their name) Adam, means “mankind.”
