A4P Guest: “I am 37 years old and I am single. I met this man in my work place. He is married but his wife is not the kind of woman that he wants to stay married to. He wouldn’t go home if it wasn’t for his two kids. I happened to know about him accidentally and I felt sorry for him. So, one day, while I was eating my lunch (I always pack my lunch to work), he said, “Smells good! It must be one those tasty Ethiopian dishes?” I smiled and invited him to join me.

Wow! Don’t you feel like you have no hope after reading the above verse? I do.
What a Wonderful Opportunity!

Fifteen years ago today, I gave birth to a big boy, 9lbs. When I was three month pregnant, in the middle of my morning prayer, I thought God spoke to my heart saying, “It is a boy and call him Biruk.” (In Hebrew – Biruk is “Baruch” – means “blessed” – Jeremiah 36:4)

“But She is a Virgin”
From all the hundreds of commandments given to the people of God, the Israelites, this one command gets my attention:
“Do not plow with an ox and a donkey yoked together.” (Deuteronomy 22:10)
Okay, I clearly understand other commandments such as, “Don’t kill” and “Don’t do adultery.”
“Don’t yoke an ox and a donkey?” Huh?
This got me a bit confused.
