I am sure by now you know that I have a beautiful cat named Kimmem (means, spice). By the way, this cat belongs to my only daughter, Lydia. I am just a care-giver and when money is needed to buy anything for Kimmem, I am the bank Lydia comes to – if you know what I mean.
So, yesterday was Kimmem’s first doctor’s appointment and she received two shots for rabies and for something else, I forgot.
The Bible says, “The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”” Genesis 2:18
The other meaning to the word “suitable” is “a lifesaver.”
And this “lifesaver” partner was found from the man’s body:
“So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh.” Genesis 2:21
“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24
“21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
22 “He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.”
23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.” 1 Peter 2:21-23
My husband and I just came back from a funeral service.
One of our church worship leaders’ husband went to be with the LORD and today was the day that his body was laid to rest.
You have no idea how sad we are but at the same time, we are rejoicing because the funeral service was one of those uplifting and comforting services we have ever attended. Praise God!
