A4P Guest: I’m a 25 year old single man. When I was 14 years old, I was introduced to porn and masturbation and I was addicted to those things until last year. Last year I went with one of my friends to a conference where a man of God was praying for deliverance. There were lots of people who were demon possessed and addicted to all sorts of sexual sins like me. Most people got delivered! And in the middle of the program, the man of God came directly to me and said “Son, the chain of sexual addiction is broken from your life.” When I heard those words, I fell on my face and some kind of electric shock went through my body and I knew at that moment that I was free from the bondage of porn and masturbation addiction. From that night on up to this day, I’m free from sexual addiction. So when I read some of your blogs, you rarely talk about miracle in the name of Jesus. You talk about counseling, psychiatrist, psychologists and all those professions who are not the answers for sexual addiction. The Bible says, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! So when you talk about how one can be free from the bondage of sexual addiction, why don’t you talk about the miraculous deliverance they can have in Jesus; or you don’t believe in miracle?

A4P: Let me first say this to make the air clear: I do believe in miracle and I do believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Actually I am one of those people who had received amazing miracle from the Lord Jesus Christ on the day I’ve received the Holy Spirit baptism.

Phew! I hope that will take care of your doubt on my stand regarding miracle in the Name of Jesus.

Okay, so, God delivered you from porn and masturbation addiction, praise the LORD and Hallelujah! But as you may already found out, sexual purity is a lifestyle that doesn’t drop from heaven or come on you when an anointed man/woman lays their hands upon you but a lifestyle you fight to have daily. So, how is that lifestyle going for you? How do you keep yourself sexually pure on your day to day life?

If you are delivered from sexual addiction in miracle, which can’t happen to all people, I advise you to stay tune with the message of sexual purity so that you make your deliverance a day to day miracle rather than a “once-upon-a-time” thing which is a very sad reality for many people. They said that they were delivered from the bondage of sexual addiction, they even gave their life testimony standing on the stage but they secretly go back to it because they don’t know the truth about their sexuality.

Jesus said: “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation” (Matthew 12:43-45)

And you mention that I write about other professions’ help instead of anointed ministers? So, you want me to say on this page something like, “If you are sexually addicted, come and I will lay my hands on you and you will instantly be free!” Or “Go to this minister and you will instantly be healed!” Hmm!

I am a pharmacist professionally and I love my profession very much even though I gave it all up to the ministry. I didn’t give it up thinking that pharmacy is from hell and ministry is from heaven. Oh, no! I think both are from heaven; it is just I believe God wants me to focus on ministry at this point of my life. I believe God is the One who gave us all the health professionals and I thank Him for that. Pharmacist, nurses, physicians, psychiatrist, psychologist, neurologists, researchers, counselors, social workers, etc! Praise the LORD for all of them! God used (still uses) them to make my life and others better, not worse! They are the most important part of the whole puzzle of good and healthy living, including freedom from sexual addiction!

I also praise God for ministers of God who are specially anointed to benefit the body of Christ! But I never believe that it is my Christian duty to look for an anointed person for me to receive my freedom. When I see people who are claiming to give me health and riches if I attend their conference, oh, no, let me not start there.

Appeal for Purity, the ministry I’m standing behind, is not talking about a one day “miracle” but a lasting miracle that comes from “knowing” the Truth.

My friend, I do believe in miracle where God breaks bondage of any form of addiction; but I don’t believe for a second that –the only way God breaks bondage is when one person lays hand on the addicted but through the knowing, hearing and believing the Truth. The Bible says, “You will know the truth and the Truth will set you free.” (John 8:32) and A4P is the ministry which works on that side of the puzzle of life.

I guess I have to stop here but not before I say this:

Knowing what I know to be true about God and His words so far, I believe that God is not up to giving us a one day fix for our problems but an everyday victory in our life. And to claim that kind of life, a person has to be aware of the truth and gaze and meditate up on it daily so that their life will be so transparent that others won’t struggle to see Christ through them. ///
