I don’t know about you but for me personally, the only thing that gives me comfort and joy these days is the power of the blood of Jesus! My! My! My! Where would I be without the mercy of God, without the blood of the Lamb?

May His name forever be praised!

This morning I read the Book of Haggai chapter one. What a beautiful chapter! It shows you a glimpse of God’s heart for His people! Love it very much!

God shared His heart with His people through Prophet Haggai. Haggai told to the people of God how they have neglected God and His house. Then, listen to this please, the people of God “obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai” (Haggai 1:12). Don’t you just love that! They heard what God said and they obeyed. I wish I was like that ALWAYS!

And listen what God did: “So the LORD stirred up the spirit” – the spirit of who? His people. To do what? To do His will! We can’t do God’s will without God Himself helping us. Do you know that? Jesus said, “apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5b)

May God Himself stir up our spirits so we can be and do what He wants us to be and do so bring Him glory and honor! Amen! But remember, we have to first be willing to hear what God has to say to us and obey Him with all our hearts (which shows total surrender).

Okay, my intention was not to share with you the word of God but about my upcoming speaking engagement. Oh, well! It won’t hurt.

So, here it is. I have yet another wonderful opportunity for me to worship God with the people of God in the Ethiopian Gospel Believers Church in Indianapolis, India.

So, as always, if you live in the Indianapolis area, this is my personal invitation for you to come and worship God with us. If you don’t live there but know someone who does, invite them on my behalf. Remember, my teachings are not about any specific religion but life in general that we all care about but I can’t speak about life leaving out the name of the One who Himself is Life, Jesus Christ, the only life Giver there is.
