A4P Guest: Did you hear about the Voice of America radio show that was aired last Sunday, the show which went viral on all social media?
A4P: Yes, I did.
A4P Guest: How come you didn’t say anything about it?
A4P: What do you want me to say about it? Repeat what was aired on the show?
A4P Guest: No, but I was expecting you to mention it in a way to create awareness in the Christian community about this issue.
A4P: I thought that is exactly what I’ve been doing on this page since day one.
Appeal for Purity (A4P) is a ministry established to create awareness on the area of sexual purity, to bring back the standard of sexual purity to our churches and spiritual gatherings; but above all to bring back sexual purity and integrity to our personal and private day to day life.
So as a minister who is standing behind the A4P Ministry, I usually don’t get excited about the stories which are publicized for the whole world to hear; rather my heart beats after the stories which are still hidden in the dark. You see, stories which came to light have little to zero chance to continue to stay in the dark and do the harm; but those stories which are still hidden in the dark are the stories which SILENTLY destroy people of faith and ultimately destroy church’s relevance in this dark world.
My friend, the story such as the one you hear on VOA is the tip of the iceberg.
So, while many research studies are showing that many men and women of God are in adultery, porn, masturbation, cyber and phone sex and prostitution addictions, I choose to stay focused on spreading the truth of God hoping and praying that I may help someone to come clean with God before the hand of God moves in a way which terrorizes and terrifies us all.
While many choose to play “hide-and-seek” with their sinful sexual lifestyles, I don’t think it is wise for me to dwell on the story which came to light.
Sure, when light comes to the darkness, work has to be done; a work of restoration as it is written on Paul’s letters to the Corinthians and Galatians. But that work has to be done with the spiritual mentors who are led by the Spirit.
The Bible says, “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.” Galatians 6:1
So while I leave that restoring work for those who are spiritual and closer to the accused ones, I move forward to the next one.
Let me say this before I end:
God is Holy! His name is Holy! God’s word is infallible! If we all decide to lie and deny Him by the way we live, God will be proven to be “not-guilty” in all accounts. Listen what Paul said:
“What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written:
“So that you may be proved right when you speak
and prevail when you judge” Romans 3:3-4 ///
