Have you ever read Proverbs 6 and 7 ?
I hope so, especially if you’re a young man, single or married.
The title given to Proverb 6 in the New International Version is: “Warnings Against Folly” and to Proverb 7 is “Warning Against the Adulterous Woman.”
Beautiful chapters that openly and bluntly talk about sexual sin, especially adultery.
Here is the clip of the message and I will leave the rest for you to devour all by yourself later when you find time:
“People do not despise a thief if he steals
to satisfy his hunger when he is starving.
Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold,
though it costs him all the wealth of his house.
But a man who commits adultery has no sense;
whoever does so destroys himself.
Blows and disgrace are his lot,
and his shame will never be wiped away.” (Proverbs 6:30-33)
to satisfy his hunger when he is starving.
Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold,
though it costs him all the wealth of his house.
But a man who commits adultery has no sense;
whoever does so destroys himself.
Blows and disgrace are his lot,
and his shame will never be wiped away.” (Proverbs 6:30-33)
In short, the advice goes like this: If the woman is not your wife, touch her at your own risk! ///
