Sex is not up for a test but up for a lifetime companionship and relationship.

Sex is one tiny part of marriage. It is media that makes it look like it is a major part of marriage. It is not! If it was, Bible would have told us clearly.

Until we let this truth permeates and wins over our thought lives, we will continue sleeping around, trying to figure out who can be sexually compatible with us. And when we think we find that person, we jump into marriage and in short period of time, to our nightmare, we find out that we actually have no compatibility whatsoever in all areas of life (sexually, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and in all “allies”).

So, what do we do? We run out of marriage saying, “It doesn’t work. It works only for those lucky people and I ain’t one of those people.”

Sex before marriage has detrimental consequence. Why? Sex before marriage has a tendency to blind us as it shuts off our logical mind, a mind that reasons as it tests our actions and decisions through the word of God.

The best thing to do is: Stay away from sex before marriage (1 Cor. 6:18). Run away from it today! Now! (2 Cor. 6:2)

“It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.” (1 Thessalonians 3:3-6) ///
