Did I ever say, “Sex before marriage is sin?”

Oops! I did say that many times.

“And BTW we all know that truth and you don’t need to rub it in our face anymore.”

Well, knowing doesn’t save anyone from anything because letter kills but spirit gives life (2 Cor. 3:6).

“How can we change the letter to spirit so that we get life?”

By putting the letter to work!

“We tried that many times and it didn’t seem to work.”

Maybe you tried it by your own willpower and strength (Zechariah 4:6). Try this: Tap in to the Spirit of God you are filled in (Romans 8:9) and the grace of God which is yours in Christ Jesus (Titus 2:11-12) and you shall see the supernatural and divine nature you have in Christ (2 Peter 1:3-4).

“How can we tap in to that truth?”

Simple! Believe it! If you believe the truth about who you are in Christ, that you have the Spirit and grace of God at your disposal to bring glory to Christ, no one can stop you from turning the letter to spirit and live for the glory of God!

“But we all believe in the Word of God; but turning the letter to spirit is not a reality in our lives.”

Believing in the Word of God can only be revealed when we act on it; otherwise it can’t be called “believing,” but knowing (James 2).

Take the Word, put it into practice without asking counsel from your emotions and feelings, and voila! The house build on the rock doesn’t fall! (Matthew 7:24-25) ///
