Whenever I pray, I bring up some of these passages from the Bible to my memory:-
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:7-11 NASB
“A sword with two edges has no blunt side: it cuts both this way and that. The revelation of God given us in Holy Scripture is edge all over. It is alive in every part, and in every part keen to cut the conscience, and wound the heart. Depend upon it, there is not a superfluous verse in the Bible, nor a chapter which is useless.”
My day didn’t start very well. I heard something early in the morning that made me feel sad and hopeless.
So, I knelt down at my bedside; I praised and worshiped God and left my anxious thoughts to Him and got on with my day.
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7NASB Continue reading New Creation “Doctrine”→
You know what? When I started this Bible study thingy, I thought I would share with you some of the most amazing truths of God that I’ve learned through time.
Little did I know that I was trying to teach the most brilliant men and women of God?♀️. Very embarrassing for sure!
I am serious when I say this before God: I am learning a great deal from your spirit filled and anointed comments. If you guys can write like that as a first-grade student, I wonder how you would write as a PhD candidate.
I mean you can call it whatever you want but for me, I always see myself in Bible Study 101 class whenever I study the Bible. God knows when I will get to 102 class. It is okay. It will happen one day, slowly but surely.
Don’t you hate to go to a Bible study and somebody reads a passage from the Bible and says something like, “Okay. So, tell me. What do you all think about this passage?”
And the question goes in circle, one saying, “Well, I see this passage this way” and the other says, “Well, I see it that way,” and the other one says, “Mine is a bit different from both of these people because I see this passage this way.” And yet another one will say, “This verse reminds me of the message of Prophet so and so. He said,” (talks about half an hour).
