A4P Guest: I read what you posted a couple days ago and I wish I read that post few years ago. I too lived with a man that I am not married to. We both consider ourselves born again Christians. But I wonder what we do in life matches our confession. We were attracted to each other so much that we both convinced ourselves not to wait to get married and we started to live together, promising that we would get married soon. Now we have a one-year old child. I am in the middle of a mess. I wish I didn’t do this. I was a virgin when I moved with him and I thought I was doing the right thing. Have you heard this saying: “You are what you eat?”
It is so true, isn’t it?
It is not just true for our physical life but for the spiritual one too.
Think about it!
If we feed on the entertainment products of this world, we become slaves to this world.
Now Is the Day
If you are in Christ, after you die, you will rise to eternal life.
No Tears In Heaven
This is the kind of sermon we Christians need to listen to often.
We Christians are not immune from the pain and suffering of this life. We cry and shade some tears, just like everybody else. We at times get depressed and lose hope too.
Let There Be!
Whenever I think about my salvation, I think about this verse:
“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 NASB
Before God calls light over the earth, the earth was covered with darkness: “The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep” Genesis 1:2a NASB
