As a family, we gathered together around the table this morning and prayed to the families, their kids and wives of all the fallen soldiers, soldiers who paid the ultimate price to make this country what it is now.
It’s amazing how we enjoy peaceful life at the cost of someone’s father, brother, son and a friend. I know there are women in the military too but men out numbered them, especially as victims of the war.
May the LORD remember their inconceivable sacrifices and pour out His love, mercy and grace on their families, wives, kids and friends. //

And for a girl, there is nothing as attractive as a romantic man. She thinks that he is madly in love with her. But the truth of the matter is he is not really in love with her. Is he ready for a long term commitment such as marriage? Oh, no, he is not. But does he care if he even goes through the wedding process to have her body for a night? No, he doesn’t care.

I remember one true story I heard few years ago. I heard it from the man whose perspective about porn has been impacted by his dad.
When he was 24 years of age, he was moving out of his apartment to go to another one because of his job location. And he called his dad to help him out. So the whole day, father and son were moving that single man’s stuff from one apartment to the other. After they finished setting up the apartment, the father wanted to make sure that everything was out of his son’s truck. So he went out and searched through the truck. Then he saw a piece of paper under the car mats. He reached to it thinking that it was a piece of paper but actually it was a porn magazine. “What is special about this girl that I keep on being drawn in to” was the question he raised to himself after he tried to call her for the third time in one day.
“Is she ignoring my call or is she not interested to talk to me?” He didn’t like the fact that he was on the other side of the equation, the one who was being ignored.
He said to himself, “Whatever! She’s a girl; she will call me back. Let me ignore her.” But the truth of the matter is, he noticed something in her that he hasn’t seen in any other girl. And he knew that she wouldn’t call him if he didn’t keep trying.
“Wow, she is very different” he said to himself. And he said, “Maybe I’m just exaggerating things. She is not that different from other girls.” But still there was that nagging curiosity which made him subject to stare at his phone for a long period of time, waiting to see her name popping up as her call came in.
