Refused what? He refused to be called the grandson of Pharaoh.
But before he refused to be called a grandson of Pharaoh, he did some “growing up.”
So the Bible says: “By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.” (Hebrews 11:24)
Just like Moses, we too need to refuse to be identified with this dark world; we need to say “No” when devil entices us to sin against God; but, the question is, can we do that?
No, we can’t!
Only Jesus, the Word of God, can! We need to let Him live in and through us. Then we grow in faith and have a spiritual muscle that enables us to refuse to be called anything else but “a child of God.”
