The word of God and the Spirit of God are ONE!

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” (John 6:63NASB)

When we are led by the word of God, it means, we are led by the Spirit of God.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105 NASB)

We shouldn’t be led by the prophecy or dream of others or ourselves but by the word of God.

While the word of God says, “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.” (2 Corinthians 6:14), going and marrying an unbelieving person because somebody had prophesied on you saying, “The God of Host said to you, Go ahead and marry this unbelieving person,” is just being crazy, not being led by the Spirit of God.

God is His Word and His Word is God Himself. We cannot separate these two. They are two faces of the same coin.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

What more do we need other than the word of God to lead our lives by? Nothing!

If we let anything (prophesy or dream) to have a higher authority in our lives other than the word God, we are leading our lives by our nightmares, not by the Spirit of God. ///
