It was on Thursday, October 31, 2013 that I launched Appeal for Purity and opened a Facebook page.
Time flies, doesn’t it!
I praise God for His mercy and grace throughout these four years. God is faithful! May His name forever be praised!
Yes, today, Tuesday, October 31, 2017 marks the fourth Anniversary of Appeal for Purity (A4P)!
What a day! Not because it is A4P’s anniversary but it is also “on October 31, 1517 Martin Luther published 95 criticisms of the Catholic Church practice of selling Indulgences.” So, today marks the 500th Anniversary of Reformation!
Yeah, because of this great, humble, brave and courageous man of God, Martin Luther, that most of us today are rescued from many false teachings.
So, the “Five Solas” of Reformation say:
- Scripture alone
- Faith alone
- Grace alone
- Christ alone and
- To the glory of God alone!
Don’t you love that! I love it very much!
These five solas cancel any popular and famous teachings or human beings out and enthroned the Son of God, Jesus Christ! Praise be to Jesus Christ alone!
So, I am humbled by this coincidence, for celebrating Appeal for Purity’s 4th anniversary on the same day as the celebration of this historical anniversary, the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.
I pray that God continues to REFORM my faith in and knowledge/understanding of Jesus Christ according to the Bible.
I pray the same thing for you, my friends!

If you ask me the one Bible verse that carried me throughout these past four years, I would say Psalm 23:1, “The LORD is my Shepherd, I lack nothing.” May the name of Jesus Christ be praised forever! Yes, Jesus Christ is the good Shepherd! ///
