This is the message I presented at the Unique 7000 Church in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia last month. You know what I love about this message?

Well, I love all my messages, no question about that, but what blessed me the most from this video is the youthfulness of the congregation! Oh, what a joy for me to invest in these young men and women! What an honor it is for me to speak to them about this precious truth of God, about our sexuality!

May the name of Jesus Christ be praised forever!

I love reading Numbers 24 & 25 and I usually share these two chapters wherever I go. Oh, how I love to read especially Numbers 24!

Yes, we’re God’s precious people. We’re covered by the blood of Jesus. God puts His angels charge over us. The Almighty God Himself is our protector. He is our fortress and hiding place.

But Jesus warns us to keep our eyes healthy:

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:22-23)

Jesus also says, “If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” (Matthew 5:29)

This is one of those radical steps we need to take to walk the walk. It is not especially easy for a young man to keep his pair of eyes pure but the grace of God enables him to do what God calls him to do. It is not easy for a young woman not to covet in her heart the kind of romance she watched on inappropriate movies or tabloids but again, the grace of God enables her to be what God calls her to be.

Yes! We only have His grace to boast about! We can’t depend on our willpower or past victories but His grace.

“For the grace of God – – – teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,” (Titus 2:11-12)

Paul said, “But by the grace of God I am what I am.” (1 Corinthians 15:10) – If there is anything good in us, it is because of His grace. May His name forever be praise! ///
