I love this timeless message very much!
Some people say, “It is hard to get married in Ethiopia at a young age.”
Who said that?
So, is it easy to burn in lust in Ethiopia? Is it easy in Ethiopia to stumble in sexual sin, be victims of entertainment media and lose your fellowship with the Holy Spirit?
It is not me who’s suggesting marriage to fight against sexual immorality but the word of God: “But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.” (1 Cor. 7:2)
Don’t dream big wedding party because it adds absolutely nothing to your Christianity as well as marriage. Don’t wait until you buy big house, car and all. Instead dream to receive all these material blessings from God with your spouse in your marriage.
I mean, are you going to get married in your thirties? Or, forties or fifties?
If you are 18 now, start now praying and looking for a spouse. Don’t look for a woman but a WIFE. Pray and read about marriage. Prepare yourself to be a husband material according to the word of God and marry before you turn 25.
Disqualify yourself from this earthly, rubbish, good for nothing, material competition, trying to do wedding like everybody else, buying the same house like everybody else. Instead, strive to live according to the word of God.
After you marry, if you want to, save enough money to throw a big party to make your family, especially your parents, happy.
Or, if you are wise, save all that money to your kids’ school.
This I call, Proverbs 31’s kind of wisdom! ///
