Thank you everybody for your kind comments you left on my yesterday’s post. I read each and every comment and I appreciate you all very much! God bless you!
I am struggling with jet lag, trying to adjust my sleep with EST; and I’m struggling to forget the time I spent with my lovely sisters. Two of my sisters live in London and one of my sisters flew from Germany and we spent short but a very lovely time together. Oh, how I enjoy laughing with my siblings!
I guess I need to forget yesterday and move on to the next chapter of my life.
So, for today I want to share with you a clip from “What Marriage is not”, the sermon. I highlighted I think six or seven important points, and while I was listening and editing that sermon this morning, I kind of loved this clip and wanted to share with you all.
I don’t have a plan to upload the full version of the message; just focus on this 15-minute long message which can benefit you greatly if you put it into practice towards your own marriage.
For those of you who don’t understand Amharic, all I’m saying in this clip is this: Husbands don’t want to be controlled by their wives and wives dreaded to be neglected and mistreated by their husbands. So, marriage is not a place a person goes to get his/her needs met but a place he/she goes to meet his/her spouse’s needs. It’s challenging and a hard pill to swallow kind of message but it is true.
I hope and pray God speaks to your heart.
Have a blessed Saturday! ///
