Some girls believe that their man can change if they marry him. But that is a fantasy many women tend to believe.

The truth of the matter is a man doesn’t usually change.

There is one beautiful saying that goes like this:

“A woman marries a man thinking that he will change; but he will never change. A man marries a woman thinking that she will never change; but she will change.”

Made you think, didn’t it?

A woman goes through lots of hormonal ups and downs throughout her life. If she is loved and treasured by her husband, she may be changed for the better and become an ever increasingly shinning crown on her husband’s head (Proverbs 12:4). If she is not loved and treasured, well, let me leave that here.

On the other hand, a man naturally doesn’t go through that much of any change. Especially once he passes that critical age (25 years of age, the age his brain stops growing), change becomes a rarity in his life.

So, if you are a girl, preparing to marry a man thinking that he will be someone else than who he is today, stop it! Rather, fall in love with who he is today; not on who he may become tomorrow.

Don’t marry him thinking that he will be somebody else tomorrow. Who he is today might be the one you are going to live with for the rest of your life.

All the red flags, such as burst of anger, being slanderous when he gets upset, being physical when he is angry, will all those red flags may come with him to the marriage. Watch out!

If God brings change in his life before you marry him, praise the LORD! But don’t bet your life on the uncertain change you dream your man may have in the future; because YOUR DREAM MAY NEVER COME TRUE. ///
