Thank You, LORD, for giving me another day to come to You in prayer. May Your Name be blessed forever!
I have received many great and perfect gifts from You, LORD.
Above all the gifts, LORD, You gave me Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for me on the Cross so I might live for You. Jesus, You became sin for me so I might be God’s righteousness. Thank You, Lord Jesus! Continue reading A Wife’s Prayer To Her Husband→
While he is harboring a sexual sin, what benefit is there for the man of God to stand behind the pulpit to preach and sing? Nothing!
While a preacher/singer is a prisoner of adultery, porn and masturbation addiction, or prostitution and cyber-sex addiction, why does he still choose to stand behind the pulpit?
It was few years back when our kids were very little. While I was reading one of those interesting psychology books, I don’t remember which one; I read that in every human heart, there is this deep seated desire to be naked. I said to myself, “You must be kidding me!” The author continued saying that not only we desire to be naked but we desire others to be naked as well.
I said to myself; “That is absurd!”
Well, I respectfully disagreed with the idea and moved on to the next one. But the idea kind of stayed with me. Then to my surprise, I noticed something.
They said that life is a journey. They also said that “marriage is a lifetime school of discipline” where you will be done with all the required “courses” only when you take your last breath. Hmm! Different school of discipline, isn’t it?
While I was in line to pay for my groceries, I was on my phone reading my emails that I didn’t get a chance to read in the morning. Then I put my phone back in my pocket and I zoned out. I began thinking about something and before I knew it I said something audibly. And the person who was standing on the other side looked at me as if I was crazy.
I was so embarrassed that I tried to sing as if I was in the middle of rehearsing a song. Then all of a sudden, my heart posed a question: “Does this woman know you?”
When we say “No” to sin, we say “Yes” to God and this very action the word of God calls it a “religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless,” in addition to helping orphans and widows in their time of distress (James 1:27). Continue reading Worship that is Pure and Faultless→
When God commands husbands to “love” their wives as Jesus loved the church, He is not joking. He is seriously showing to husbands the shortest way (not necessarily the easy way) they can make their own lives fun and enjoyable.
Many marriage experts agree that no one can have a perfect marriage.
Duh! We all are imperfect people and when two of us come together, we can’t create a perfect life.
Okay, that is like one of those “no brainer” facts. But do you know that many marriage experts (means, people who spend most of their days studying about marriage) agree that there are only two kinds of marriages: Good or bad? Yeah, it is very true.
