“Born-again Christian Girls Don’t Attract Me Much”

A4P Guest: I am 23 years old, fourth year university student. I haven’t dated any girl so far and I think I know the reason. Well, I am a born-again Christian but I always find myself attracted to girls who are not born-again Christians. Frankly, I don’t find born-again Christian girls that much attractive. You know how the saying goes, “A girl who makes you feel relaxed is the girl you need to pursue.” Well, I don’t relax around Christian girls that much but whenever I’m around girls who are not born-again Christians, I see that spark of attraction. What do I need to do? I know what the Bible says about being yoked with unbelievers but I don’t know what to do with my feeling.

“I’m interested in a guy”

A4P Guest: Hi Missy, I know this is the weirdest question you’ve probably ever come across but I’m going to ask it anyways. So here we go! So, I’m very interested in a guy in our Bible study. Missy, I’m literally thinking about him 24/7.

A4P: There is nothing weird about that.

A4P Guest: I’m not done. The guy is not interested in me. Talk about falling in love, I’m dying! What do I need to do?

A4P: Phew! That is tough!

It would be great if I read especially from those of you, young men, who might be “the guy” a girl imight be thinking about 24/7. Please, let me say this again, PLEASE, don’t advise the girl to ask the guy for a date or marriage, backing up your answer by Ruth’s story. Sex Should Be An Okay Thing

A4P Guest: I have a quick question. So, my girlfriend is an Ethiopian girl. I love her very much and she loves me too. So, my question is this: What’s wrong with having sex before marriage? I don’t think we need to sanctify our flesh here on earth since the Bible says, “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 15:50) and “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing,” (John 6:63). So, as long as my girlfriend and I keep our soul and spirit holy, sex should be an okay thing since it is done on the flesh. So, can you give me few more verses to go over with my girlfriend since she is struggling to accept this truth?

“But She is a Virgin”

From all the hundreds of commandments given to the people of God, the Israelites, this one command gets my attention:
 
“Do not plow with an ox and a donkey yoked together.” (Deuteronomy 22:10)
 
Okay, I clearly understand other commandments such as, “Don’t kill” and “Don’t do adultery.”
 
“Don’t yoke an ox and a donkey?” Huh?
 
This got me a bit confused.
