Love Always Waits!
A4P Guest: I’m a 36 year-old woman and I’ve been dating a man (38 years old) for a couple years now. We both are born again Christians. This year, I was expecting him to propose to me but he doesn’t even talk about marriage at all. I told him in several occasions how much I desire to get married. But he usually changes the subject and avoids it totally. What do you advise me to do? Continue reading Love Always Waits!
The Reality of Dating And Marriage
Marriage is very different from dating. Dating has some sort of excitement to it almost every day. It is sweet and makes life bearable. Especially for a girl who stole a man’s heart, it is a blast. She may sometimes feel that she is flying on the air. She easily embraces herself as the most beautiful and attractive person ever created on this planet earth. To Pursue A Girl For Marriage
A4P Guest: I’m 26 years old and I am tired of dealing with my sexuality. I feel like I’m the weakest man in my church. Even if I know that most single men (including single women) struggle in this area, I feel like mine is just too much. So my question for you is this: What is the best way to pursue a girl for marriage? Continue reading To Pursue A Girl For Marriage
Irrational Fear?????
A4P Guest: I’m seeing someone. I met him eight months ago at my friend’s house. He is my dream man. He doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol. He treats me the way I always want to be treated by a man. I’m a born-again Christian but he is not. I mean, he is not that much interested to go to church but encourages me to go. He proposed to me last week and he promised me to receive Jesus Christ before this year ends. But deep down in my heart, I have this irrational fear and I want to ask you what you think of this? “Convicted of Flirting with Men”
A4P Guest: “After reading some of your articles, I got convicted of flirting with men around me. I’m one of the worship leaders in my church. I used to like to wear tight pants and/or short dresses. I was enjoying the attention the men were giving me. A couple weeks ago, I decided to buy a dress which is neither tight nor short but still cute. I wore to the next church program. I was actually leading the worship that day. For some reason, I felt clean standing before the people of God, consciously dressing up in a non-seductive way, if you know what I mean. Disappointing Reason To Get Married
The most depressing, frustrating and disappointing reason to marry is to have sex. Do you know why? Well, let me give one analogy to make my point clear:
Let’s assume that a married couple has sexual intimacy three times a week. (I’m not suggesting that having sex three times a week is the norm or anything. It can be a norm for some and for some, three times a week may feel like a fasting season). Continue reading Disappointing Reason To Get Married
Sex Before Marriage
STOP!
If you feel like you found the love of your life, a person so beautiful/handsome who understands you more than anybody else, a person you can talk to for hours without realizing that you talked for six hours and you are already thinking about your wedding and your children you are going to have with this person BUT it’s only been two or three week since you met this person, STOP!
You are acting CRAZY! So, stop and take one step back. Then take like three days off from everyone, including yourself and be present before God. Let the Word of God do some kind of mental and emotional check up on you. You know, when we ride in a very speedy train of life, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, we end up in a ditch which nobody can snatch us out until we harvest all the consequences of our carelessness and mindlessness. ///
A Woman Who Fears!
The Bible says, “The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life.” (Proverbs 14:27)
A fountain: “a natural spring of water” – water that never stops flowing. Continue reading A Woman Who Fears!
