Aren’t Men and Women Equal?

A4P Guest: I’m 21 years old and I hear some people in my church saying that it is wrong for a girl to ask a man for a date. I don’t agree with that. It might be wrong in the first century because women didn’t even have a right to make their voices heard let alone ask a man for a date; but now, in the 21st century, I think there is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy for a date. We all are equal, aren’t we? The question shouldn’t be who ask first but whether or not we like each other.

Can A Man Scoop Fire and Not Get Burned?

He was not going to church as often as he used to. He had good fellowship with some Christian friends but he kind of caught up with busy life and felt estranged from them and the things of God.

Then little by little, his prayer-time turned from one hour to five minutes. He knows that he is a good looking guy who attracts any woman in his vicinity. At times he blamed his look for finding himself in bed with a number of women he didn’t even know their full names.

Love Always Waits!

A4P Guest: I’m a 36 year-old woman and I’ve been dating a man (38 years old) for a couple years now. We both are born again Christians. This year, I was expecting him to propose to me but he doesn’t even talk about marriage at all. I told him in several occasions how much I desire to get married. But he usually changes the subject and avoids it totally. What do you advise me to do? Continue reading Love Always Waits!

The Reality of Dating And Marriage

Marriage is very different from dating. Dating has some sort of excitement to it almost every day. It is sweet and makes life bearable. Especially for a girl who stole a man’s heart, it is a blast. She may sometimes feel that she is flying on the air. She easily embraces herself as the most beautiful and attractive person ever created on this planet earth. Irrational Fear?????

A4P Guest: I’m seeing someone. I met him eight months ago at my friend’s house. He is my dream man. He doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol. He treats me the way I always want to be treated by a man. I’m a born-again Christian but he is not. I mean, he is not that much interested to go to church but encourages me to go. He proposed to me last week and he promised me to receive Jesus Christ before this year ends. But deep down in my heart, I have this irrational fear and I want to ask you what you think of this? “Convicted of Flirting with Men”

A4P Guest: “After reading some of your articles, I got convicted of flirting with men around me. I’m one of the worship leaders in my church. I used to like to wear tight pants and/or short dresses. I was enjoying the attention the men were giving me. A couple weeks ago, I decided to buy a dress which is neither tight nor short but still cute. I wore to the next church program. I was actually leading the worship that day. For some reason, I felt clean standing before the people of God, consciously dressing up in a non-seductive way, if you know what I mean. Disappointing Reason To Get Married

The most depressing, frustrating and disappointing reason to marry is to have sex. Do you know why? Well, let me give one analogy to make my point clear:

Let’s assume that a married couple has sexual intimacy three times a week. (I’m not suggesting that having sex three times a week is the norm or anything. It can be a norm for some and for some, three times a week may feel like a fasting season). Continue reading Disappointing Reason To Get Married
