A4P Guest: Can you give us evidence why masturbation is wrong? When it’s been said that between 95 and 98 percent of young men are engaged in this practice and the rest are liars – aren’t we add burden of guilt on the men when we say masturbation is a sin?
A4P: Before I say anything, let me say this: Feeling guilty is a God-given emotion; it is good. It brings us back to God. It is not good only when it has no logical and/or biblical ground, for instance, feeling guilty after we receive the forgiveness of God. Continue reading “Give Us Evidence About Masturbation”
First, let me define the word masturbation. From all the “colorful” dictionary definitions given to the word masturbation, I chose one word, i.e. self-gratification, which helps me make my point easy and clear. Continue reading Is Masturbation a Sin?

there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
All have turned away,

Marriage between one man and one woman is the story of God, not the story of man. It is very easy for us to forget this especially when we find ourselves in a marriage, in the middle of a conflict. Continue reading Divorce? Why?
“I said, “I will watch my ways
and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth
while in the presence of the wicked.”
So I remained utterly silent,
not even saying anything good.
But my anguish increased;
my heart grew hot within me.
While I meditated, the fire burned;
then I spoke with my tongue:
“Show me, Lord, my life’s end
and the number of my days;
let me know how fleeting my life is.
You have made my days a mere handbreadth;
the span of my years is as nothing before you.
Everyone is but a breath,
even those who seem secure.” Psalm 39:1-5
Sinful desires are printed on our DNA. That means we can’t run from them. Oops, what do we do then? We can live above them while they are hanging out with us.
