“May He Send You Help”

“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high! May He send you help from the sanctuary And support you from Zion! May He remember all your meal offerings And find your burnt offering acceptable! Selah. May He grant you your heart’s desire And fulfill all your counsel! We will sing for joy over your victory, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.” Psalm 20:1-5 NASB ///

My Loudest Knock

Whenever I pray, I bring up some of these passages from the Bible to my memory:-

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. The Word is Alive

“A sword with two edges has no blunt side: it cuts both this way and that. The revelation of God given us in Holy Scripture is edge all over. New Creation “Doctrine”

My day didn’t start very well. I heard something early in the morning that made me feel sad and hopeless.

So, I knelt down at my bedside; I praised and worshiped God and left my anxious thoughts to Him and got on with my day.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7NASB Continue reading New Creation “Doctrine”
