Where Change Needs to Happen First

Wearing new clothes, having a new haircut, changing a church or job, meeting new people, moving to a new city whatnot won’t really make us better Christians.

Until we decide to change our pattern of thinking according to the Word of God, we will continue to act, do, feel and experience the same thing again and again and again. Yes, change has to start first in the mind.

The Word of God says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2) ///

Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day, to all residents of the United States!

I personally love this holiday from all national holidays because it reminds me of the great leaders and personalities America had in the past; men and women who made this nation great and independent!

I love America! It indeed is the land of the free! May God bless America! May all enemies of America be put to shame forever! ///

According to the CBN news, UN committee says, “Taking kids to church violates human rights.”
 
Hold on a second: What does the committee want me to do with my kids?
 
Ridiculous!
 
I mean, seriously, they are bold, aren’t they? I wish I had that boldness to share the Gospel with others! Truth to be told, this is not a laughing matter; but a serious one because as it’s always been; first, idea comes, then, implementation of that same idea will follow. That is how we’ve come this far.

From Cincinnati to Maryland

My family and I are now back in Maryland, Praise God! We were in Cincinnati, Ohio for the International Christian Retail Trade Show (ICRS) and my husband (Berhan) and our kids sacrificed a lot to be with me. I am not sure how to thank them!

A few weeks ago, I announced on this page about me traveling to Cincinnati asking, if there was any church in that area. Well, members of one church, Peoples Church, reached out to me, and my family and I went to their church last Sunday morning. So, before I say anything, I want to say “Thank you” to many people.
