Wearing new clothes, having a new haircut, changing a church or job, meeting new people or moving to a new city won’t really make us better Christians.
Until we decide to change our pattern of thinking according to the Word of God, we will continue to act, do, feel and experience the same thing over and over again. Continue reading First In the Mind→
Porn cannot give you anything because it has NOTHING to give.
Rather, porn takes from you every precious and God-given treasure you have. It takes them one by one until you have NOTHING left.
“What kind of treasure?”
Prayer, thirst and hunger for the things of God, self-control, peace, joy, rest, good and restful sleep, love, patience, ability to focus, think and reason, on and on and on, including your precious God-given sexual desire. Continue reading “What? Sexual Desire?”→
It is ALWAYS good to be back to Maryland. After I came from St. Louis, I slept straight for twelve hours. Yeah, I was extremely exhausted.
Before I tell you all about my trip though, I want to thank the leaders of the Redeemer of World Evangelical Church (RWEC): Pastor Tesfay and his wife, Dr. Amanuel and his wife (Dr. Eden), Henok and his wife (Atsede), and Betty and her husband (Dr. Azarias) and Dr. Meheret and her husband (Dr. Zerihun) and all the other leaders I didn’t get a chance to meet. Thank you and may God bless you all!

GPS (the Global Positioning System) is a system that tells us where a certain address is located on this earth. We enter the address of our destination and the GPS will show us exactly how to get there. It gives us a step-by-step direction.
GPS has been around for sometimes now but haven’t you seen people who have GPS on their phone or car but don’t even know where they’re driving to?
A4P Guest: “I was not overweight before I got married. After I had my two kids, I gained more than 20 pounds and I am still struggling to lose but nothing seems to work. My major problem though is my embarrassment before my husband. I feel like he doesn’t like me anymore because of the extra pounds I put on especially around my belly. I feel so unattractive. I feel exposed whenever I think of sexual intimacy. My husband repeatedly told me that he doesn’t care. Does weight gain affect sexual intimacy? What do I need to do to feel good about myself and enjoy my intimate moments with my husband as I used to?” Continue reading I Feel So Unattractive→
