With the same pair of ears that I’ve heard men of God like Ernie Baker and Gary Thomas speaking about their 30+ years of marriages, and how God taught them the secret of marriage (as they wrote in their books), I’m now hearing this. Continue reading My! My! My!

Set You & Your Marriage Free
A4P Guest: Missy, my husband always says that I don’t play with him that much.
A4P: Oh. How does he want you to play with him?
A4P Guest: You know, he tends to play with me, I mean, flirt with me but I think it is not appropriate.
“I’m Married To Christ”
The other day I said to my older son (Abel-18), “Hey, do you have a girlfriend? I don’t hear you talking about this part of your life. I hope you don’t hide it from me.”
Non-Sexual Touches
A4P Guest: I’m married and have two little kids, four- and five-year-olds. My husband and I get along just fine. As I read through your old posts, Missy, I thought you’re the right person for me to ask my question that nags me a lot these days. So, my husband and I have good sexual relationship and I don’t complain about that but you see, my husband doesn’t express love to me outside the bedroom. He is just romantic in the bedroom, not outside the bedroom. I don’t know what or how to tell him how much I need his attention outside the bedroom. What do you advise me?
Submission! Wonderful Spiritual Gift!
“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:22
We submit to our husbands only when we submit to God. Otherwise the curse of controlling our husbands’ life will be our full time work.
May God be praised for saving us from that tiresome and wearisome work, work of controlling our husbands’ life!
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”” (Galatians 3:13)
Submission is a wonderful gift God gave to all wives; but it is only wonderful when it is given to a loving husband and when it comes out of a godly wife. ///

Lovely, Friendly & Charming!
I love listening/reading about Martin Luther. If you didn’t read his biographies or watch the documentary about him, please do so.

Men May Look Crazy
If you haven’t met our kids yet, here they are. The man at the back is Abel (18), the pretty girl you see at the front is Lydia (16) and the young man you see on the stairs, the one who looks tired of taking pictures, is Biruk (14). Continue reading Men May Look Crazy
Find Those Broken Poems
I sometimes ask my husband to make a poem to express his love for me. Let me tell you something, my husband is terrible when it comes to making those off the cuff kind of poems (don’t assume that I can do better). But I find those broken poems to be very funny and entertaining, much better than real and professionally made poems.
