Before I say anything about the game, I would like to say “Thank you” for all of you who have been faithfully supporting and encouraging me. I especially would like to say “Thank you” for those of you who invited your friends and families to the Appeal for Purity Facebook page. Because of you, look where Appeal for Purity is today! It is a spirit of Thanksgiving which is making me say that, lol.
One day our youngest son, I think he was second or third grade, came from school looking very sad. I took a quick look at his face and within a second knew there was something wrong with him.
When we got home, I called him to my bedroom and asked, “You look very sad. Is there something you want to talk about?” His eyes were actually ready to let it all out.
So, wiping his tears, he said, “So and so said to me, “Your Mama doesn’t look like a mother.”
Helping him wipe his tears, I asked him, “Did you ask him what your Mama looks like?”
I always love the time I have with my kids early in the morning. When I drop them off to school, I love the opportunity God is always giving me to be with them. While their brain is fresh and wide awake to absorb anything, I strive to speak truth to their hearts using every opportunity I get. We always pray as we drive to their school. We usually listen to the Christian radio channels, such as 95.1FM (WRBS), 91.9FM (WGTS) and 105.1FM (WAVA). I can’t tell you how much these radio stations changed my life and theirs for the better. What a wonderful Sunday night I had yesterday at the Bethel Church in Virginia! Praise the LORD!
I would like to say “Thank you” to Pastor Beniam, his beautiful wife, his whole family and all the ministers at the Bethel Church Virgina, for having me and the Appeal for Purity ministry at your gathering! Thank you! God bless you and all you’re doing for the Kingdom of God.
Thank you also to all my Facebook fans who came out yesterday night to support me. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate each one of you. It was a great pleasure for me especially to meet a couple who drove all the way from Columbia, MD, just to meet me in person and encourage me on the work I’m doing. Thank you so much guys! It was few years back when our kids were very little. While I was reading one of those interesting psychology books, I don’t remember which one; I read that in every human heart, there is this deep seated desire to be naked. I said to myself, “You must be kidding me!” The author continued saying that not only we desire to be naked but we desire others to be naked as well.
I said to myself; “That is absurd!”
Well, I respectfully disagreed with the idea and moved on to the next one. But the idea kind of stayed with me. Then to my surprise, I noticed something.
It is becoming the norm these days to notice new security cameras being emplaced in most shopping centers and even around small neighborhoods. Even yesterday, while I was driving around in my neighborhood, I noticed more than five new security cameras and I read a sign next to one of them that says something like, “security camera for your safety.”
The toughest and busiest day just passed! It was tough and busy day because I was trying to do five things at the same time. Anyways, I survived it! Praise the LORD!
So, when I found a minute to sit, I read some of the comments which were dropped off on the post titled “Pleading for Physical Abuse to Continue.”
Reading the comments, I said, “Huh?” once or twice. And I sat down to write this as “my last threading point”.
I said “last” because we have a lot of issues to bring up on this page. We can’t afford to be stuck on one topic. Let’s agree to disagree and move on to the next point as adults.
A4P Guest: I’m a leader for our church’s worship group. We are eight, including me. Four of us stand at one time to lead the worship. I’ve been leading this worship group since 2008 and I have no problem with any of them but one girl. This girl is a very nice girl and everything; but there is one issue. I told to every one of the worship leaders that we need to dress respectfully when we stand behind the pulpit but this girl wears these very tight pair of pants where anyone can trace every part of her body down there. Two of our church ministers already complained about it to me and I generally talked to all of the worship leaders about how we need to present ourselves, without picking on her but she doesn’t seem to listen. What can I do?
