This family of mine, let me tell you, I love these beautiful people!
For those of you who don’t know us, the beautiful girl you see sitting in the middle is my only daughter, Lydia Banko (19), then from right to left, my honey bun, the man I am madly in love with, Berhan Banko (my husband), then my little one, Biruk Banko (17), then my older son, Abel Banko (21). Then poor me, Missy Banko.

I don’t want anybody to wake me up from my deep sleep.
Why?
Well, if somebody wakes me up from my sleep, I sure get that nasty migraine headache that doesn’t let me go for days. So, it is a no-no thing to wake me up from my sleep. My husband knows, so do my kids.
“What is so special about this girl that I keep on being drawn to her?” was the question he asked himself after he tried to call her for the third time in one day.
“Is she ignoring my call? Is she not interested to talk to me?” He didn’t like the fact that he was on the other side of the equation, the one who was being ignored.

I wish there was a way to mention the names of all veterans and thank each one of them for putting their lives on the line to make this beautiful and great land, America, what it is today!
If you all remember, I talked about this clinic few weeks ago. It is Wholistic Health Service clinic, a non-profit clinic opened by Dr. Lishan Kassa eight years ago to help Ethiopians and Eritreans, in the DMV area, who have no health insurance and have low or no income.
