Here is the message I’m trying to pass on in this video clip:
If you have sexual struggle, don’t keep it as a secret. The one thing that gave your struggle power is the fact that you kept it in secret, in the dark. Bring it to light by breaking your silence.
The Bible says, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16
Remember: You are not alone; there are many, Christian men and women including ministers, who are in it. Break your bondage by following the Word of God that says “confess your sins to each other” and be the help and hope to others.
God doesn’t care about our service in a church/ministry as much as He cares about our lives. Jesus didn’t die so that we will be good, talented and skilled preachers/worship leaders/singers; but He died so that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Abundant life doesn’t include bondage.
“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” Proverbs 28:13
Let’s take away the power of the devil from our lives by confessing our sins to one another. ///
